Dr. Vijil Rahulan

Dr Vijil Rahulan is a Diplomat of American Board of Internal medicine and pulmonary and critical care medicine. He graduated from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in the year 1993. He has been trained in Interventional Pulmonology at Lahey Clinic, Massachusetts, USA and in Lung Transplantation at Barnes Jewish Medical Center, St Louis, Missouri, USA.

He spent seven years of full time consultative practice experience in USA in the field of Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep and is currently the Additional Director at KIMS Heart & Lung Transplant Institute. Dr Vijil was actively involved in the first lung transplant done in India in 2011 and has an experience of more than 150 lung transplantations since then.
