Dr. Chandrashekhar Kulkarni

Dr. Chandrashekhar Kulkarni is a seasoned Cardiac Surgeon with around 16 years of experience. He is an expert in simple and complex Adult Cardiac Surgery, Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Endovascular Aneurysm and Congenital Heart Surgery. He can seamlessly perform procedures such as off-pump CABG – total arterial and RIMA LIMA Y grafts, mini sternotomy aortic and double valve surgery, aneurysm repairs with hybrid surgery, and diagnostic VATS, among other procedures.

Dr. Kulkarni has done his MBBS, D.N.B General Surgery, M.S and MCh CVTS at leading educational institutions in India. In addition to these qualifications, he also has international M.R.C.S. certification in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.

He even did a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Greenlane Cardiac Center, Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand. Here, he independently performed CABG and valve repair/replacement operations, heart and lung transplant surgeries, harvested many hearts and lungs, learned the use of ECMO and VAD, etc.
